The Crown Index is reader-supported. Some outbound links to dealers and marketplaces (including eBay) are affiliate links: if you click one and make a qualifying purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. This is how the site keeps the lights on without paywalls.
Commissions never influence a watch's grade, score, or writeup. Grades are assigned on the same rubric whether or not a retailer pays us, and we link to sold-price comps on every reference precisely so you can check our numbers against reality.
The Crown Index is a participant in the eBay Partner Network, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn fees by linking to eBay.
We keep it simple: the site does not require an account and does not collect personal information. Your watchlist is stored only in your own browser (localStorage) and never leaves your device. We do not sell data, because we do not have any.
Affiliate partners and the sites you click through to (eBay, dealers) have their own privacy policies and may use cookies to attribute purchases; those are governed by their terms, not ours.
Prices, trends, grades, and commentary are informational estimates provided for research and entertainment. They are not investment, legal, or financial advice. Verify serials, service history, and factory originality before any purchase.
