Estimates for Togo leather with gold hardware in excellent condition. Other leathers, hardware and colors move the price; see the full guide in the interactive vault.
Ostrich is the entry point to exotic Hermès: recognizable by the raised quill bumps where feathers grew, and far lighter than crocodile.
Retail runs about two and a half times the Togo price, a fraction of a crocodile Birkin.
Resale is steadier than spectacular. Ostrich holds value well in neutral and bright jewel tones, but it does not see the multiples crocodile does.
Ostrich is soft and can scuff at the corners, so condition moves the price more than it does on Togo.
Our verdict: The approachable exotic. The 25 trades above retail; the 30 is close to it.
