Created in 1959 and named, the story goes, after the daughter its designer welcomed the day the first bags went out, the Constance is defined by its big H clasp.
It is worn on the shoulder or across the body, which makes it one of the most practical icons Hermès makes.
The 18cm 'mini' version has become the one everyone wants, and it trades well above retail.
The larger 24 is a more grown-up, classic size and sits closer to its boutique price.
