'Retourne' means turned: the bag is stitched inside out and then flipped, which gives it softer, rounded edges and a more relaxed shape than the Sellier.
It is the more practical everyday Kelly, slightly easier to carry and slightly less formal.
Resale runs a little below the Sellier in every size, which makes the Retourne the value way into a Kelly.
Black with gold hardware is the classic, but neutrals like Etoupe and Gold are the easiest to resell.
Our verdict: The wearable Kelly at a softer price than the Sellier. Small sizes still trade well above retail.
