A small leather horse, built from offcuts left over in the workshops, that clips onto a bag handle. Hermès began as a harness and saddle maker in 1837, and the Rodeo is a nod to that.
Each one combines three leather colors: the body, the saddle and the mane. Hermès releases new combinations every season, and the ones that pair well with popular bag colors sell out within minutes online.
It is the most attainable piece of Hermès that still trades above retail, which makes it a common first purchase and a useful way to build a purchase history.
The PM is the classic size. Sought-after color combinations can reach 1.5 to 2 times retail, while common colors sit only a little above it.
