Planet Ocean · 2016 to 2025 · Discontinued
Rank #20 of 32 in the Omega Vault
Average market price for an example in excellent condition. Dashed line marks the 2025 retail price.
The Planet Ocean line launched in 2005 as Omega's more robust 600m diver, and this 2016 generation added the Master Chronometer calibre 8900.
The 43.5mm case carries a helium escape valve and a ceramic bezel with Liquidmetal scale.
Omega replaced it in 2025 with a thinner 42mm fourth generation without date or helium valve.
Planet Oceans historically lose more value than the Diver 300M on the secondary market..
Our verdict: Replaced by a new 42mm model in 2025 and now trading around 55 percent of its last retail. A lot of watch for the money pre-owned.
