A Kelly woven from wicker with a leather flap and turnlock, inspired by a picnic basket. Hermès has released it in small seasonal runs, including the Mini.
Hermès makes very few, and they are offered to established clients.
Collectors pay several times retail: a 2023 Mini Picnic Kelly sold at Christie's Hong Kong in May 2026 for HK$609,600 (about US$78,000), against a boutique price of about €16,300.
Wicker can crack and fray, so condition matters even more than usual. Store it carefully and avoid crushing.
Our verdict: A rare, seasonal Kelly that trades at a multiple of retail.
Buy only from authenticated resellers or with a professional authentication. The most wanted Hermès pieces are also the most counterfeited.
