The story

The Seamaster 300 revives Omega's 1957 dive watch, one of the original trio alongside the Speedmaster and Railmaster.

The 2021 update slimmed the case, added a sandwich dial and moved to the calibre 8912.

It replaced the 2014 233.30.41.21.01.001, which used the calibre 8400.

Collectors value its vintage proportions and broad arrow hands..

Our verdict: A handsome heritage diver that settles about 45 percent under retail. Strong value used, weak as a store of value.
