The story

Made for the Seamaster's 70th anniversary in 2018, this limited edition reproduces the original 1948 Seamaster in a 38mm case.

The caseback carries a 70th anniversary medallion and individual numbering.

A small seconds version (511.12.38.20.02.001) was released alongside it.

It is a rare modern dress Seamaster with built-in scarcity..

Our verdict: A 2018 limited re-edition that holds about three quarters of its retail. Beautiful, scarce and slow to sell.
