“Hulk”
Grade A · 89/100Today's call: Buy
A: strong buy-and-hold. Ranked #6 of 129 references in The Crown Index vault.

| 1-year trend | +7% |
Discontinued in 2020 and immediately re-rated. The all-green Sub more than doubled its final retail of $9,050.
Its replacement (the Starbucks, 126610LV) has a black dial, which makes the Hulk's green-on-green a closed chapter.
Rolex launched this green-on-green monster for the Submariner's 50th anniversary and the collector establishment hated it, too flashy, too much. Then it appreciated harder than any standard production Sub in history and everyone pretended they'd always loved it.
The 'Hulk' name came from its slab-sided Maxi case and that radioactive sunburst dial. When Rolex killed it in 2020 prices jumped 40 percent in months, the cleanest discontinuation pop of the modern era.
Our verdict: The textbook discontinuation play, already played. Still a strong hold with cult demand.
