The ceramic version of the two-tone 'Bluesy' Submariner: blue dial, blue bezel, yellow gold accents. The blue sunburst dial changes from royal blue to almost black depending on the light.
It ran from 2009 to 2020 and was replaced by the 41mm 126613LB, so this is the last 40mm two-tone Sub.
Two-tone's comeback has helped it, and it trades a little under the current model for nearly the same look.
Of all the gold-touched Submariners, it is the most liquid, because the blue and gold scheme has a fan base that never fully went away.
Our verdict: B: the classic Bluesy look at a previous-generation discount. Blue dial over black.
