The Everose Yacht-Master on Oysterflex launched in 2015 as Rolex's take on the rubber-strap luxury sports watch, except the 'rubber' hides titanium blades inside, because Rolex does not do simple.
The black matte ceramic bezel with polished raised numerals is one of the best bezels the company makes. Gold-on-rubber was heresy in 2015 and is a category now; this was the watch that made it one.
Our verdict: Lifestyle buy at a discount. The strap patent aged better than the price.
