Everose steel-and-gold with the brown-black 'Root Beer' bezel, reviving the 1970s Clint Eastwood colorway.
Trades modestly over retail; two-tone GMTs follow the Rolesor fashion cycle more than the sports-watch cycle.
The Root Beer name goes back to the brown-and-gold GMTs of the 1960s that Clint Eastwood wore in nearly every film he could, collectors still call them 'Clint Eastwood' watches in Japan.
This Everose-and-steel revival gave the nickname a second life, and its brown-black ceramic bezel ages into different characters under different light. The most underrated of the current GMT lineup, mostly because the steel ones hog the headlines.
Our verdict: Style play. Fine value pre-owned, and the two-tone revival gives it a tailwind.
