Not every Hermès bag needs a waitlist or a purchase history. The Picotin, Evelyne, Herbag and Garden Party are generally sold online and in boutiques to anyone, and most cost under $5,000. Here is what each costs new and what it sells for on eBay.

The Garden Party Neo 23 retail shown is the all-leather version; a canvas version is listed at about $3,000, and most recorded sales are leather.
The Evelyne TPM costs $2,525 and sold for a median $2,600 across 48 sales. The Garden Party Neo 23 costs $4,475 and sold for a median $5,200, though on only 10 sales. They are the smallest bags in their lines, and the only entry bags here that resell above retail.
The Picotin Lock 18 loses the least: $3,975 new, $3,500 typical used, about 12% under. It is also one of the most traded Hermès bags we track, with 85 sales in 12 months, so it is easy to sell when you are done with it. The larger Picotin 22 drops 30%.
The Evelyne PM ($4,425) and Garden Party 36 ($3,600) sell for roughly half of retail used: $2,295 and $1,850. They are great bags. They are also the sizes the resale market has plenty of, which is why a used one is such good value.
