“Apollo 11”
Rank #3 of 32 in the Omega Vault
Average market price for an example in excellent condition. Dashed line marks the new moonwatch retail (2026).
The 105.012 is the reference Buzz Aldrin wore on the lunar surface during Apollo 11 in 1969.
It was the first reference to carry the word 'Professional' on the dial and introduced the asymmetric case with crown guards.
It uses the calibre 321 column wheel movement.
Collectors consider it the definitive Moonwatch reference..
Our verdict: The reference worn on the Moon in 1969. Prices range from about $6,000 to well over $15,000 depending on originality, so this is a buy-the-provenance watch for patient collectors.
