The story

Omega restarted production of the calibre 321 in 2019, the column wheel movement used in Speedmasters through the Apollo era.

This steel model uses a 39.7mm case modeled on the 105.003 that Ed White wore on the first American spacewalk in 1965.

Each movement is built by hand in a dedicated workshop in Biel.

It is the closest modern equivalent to a 1960s Speedmaster..

Our verdict: The modern Calibre 321 trades close to its retail, which is rare for Omega. Few change hands, so expect to wait for the right buyer when you sell.
